about

The sound of this EP revolves around the mystery of the three Russian shortwave radio stations, known as "The Pip", "The Buzzer", and "The Squeaky Wheel", the purpose of which is still speculated to this day. Each song contains a sample from one of these radio stations. The broadcasts are mostly monotonous beeps and buzzes, which are rarely interrupted by occasional voice-transmissions.
